The Signature Session: Maternity Edition

When Margaux reached out to me to plan her maternity session, she knew she wanted a few different looks - the Signature Session fit their needs perfectly! When booking the Signature Session with me, you receive an hour long session and access to your full gallery of 40+ digital images.

The Signature Session is perfect for couples or families who want multiple outfits, more digital images included in their package, and an hour of undivided attention. I walk you through each moment, each movement, and help you feel comfortable in a way that allows the moments to unfold genuinely.

Generally, in a Signature Session that takes place in a studio where we have easy access to a changing room - I advise 2-3 outfits. Margaux, Nick and I were able to be ultra efficient and were able to create with all 5 of the looks that she brought along as options. When at an outdoor location, I suggest two looks, three max if you are a very quick changer!

Just like you don’t have to choose just one favorite outfit to wear, with the Signature Session package you do not have to choose between images you love. You simply receive a curated, fully edited gallery ready to cherish and share.

In this blog post, I am sharing a small portion of the full gallery that Margaux and Nick received in their Signature Maternity Session.

Look One: Classic, Casual, Comfy

A look that will never get old, and looks phenomenal on literally every expecting mother!

Look Two: Elegant, Timeless, Feminine

Margaux chose to do a few of the looks solo, and two with her husband, Nick. This was the perfect way to honor their journey together while also letting her have her moment! I love seeing the juxtaposition between the color and black and white images in this set.

Look Three: Formal, Vintage, Playful

The way I guide my clients while posing them is often inspired by the outfits they are wearing! This look gave me all of the magazine vibes, and I posed them with a more editorial mindset.

Look Four: Silhouette Focused

For this black, fitted dress, Margaux wanted a silhouetted image with high contrast. I love these types of images and we were able to knock this out quickly.

Look Five: Vibrant, Flowy, Movement

We squeezed look five into - no joke, the last three minutes of our studio time! This dress instantly made me think of twirling, and I got some playful shots with motion blur that I ended up loving.

I LOVE having the opportunity to spend a full hour with my clients creating magic like this, and I think it is so fun to have a wide range of looks in one gallery!

When choosing outfits, I am always happy to send color palette ideas, Pinterest board inspiration, and give feedback on specific options you are looking at. Outfits truly have a huge influence on the vibe and overall outcome of the session, I am always happy to assist in the planning process so we create exactly what you are envisioning!
